There is one semi-minor bug which made it into this release – the app doesn’t always save your current pattern when quitting the app (as it did before). The work around – make sure you always save your pattern. We have a fix for this issue ready and we are getting 1.1.1 ready to go ASAP. 1.1.1 will also boast the following:

No, updates are free. Just open up the App Store app and go to the tab called ‘updates’.. it should be listed there and you can install it. Otherwise you can just search for the app and choose to install it again. It won’t charge you twice.
