As everyone knows, Apple announced it’s iPad yesterday. We are committed to having bleep!BOX and bleep!Synth run well on the iPad (without pixel doubling) and are already working on new UI additions and changes to take advantage of the bigger screen. The iPad brings a whole slew of new possibilities – what would you like to be able to do on the iPad, in bleep!BOX or an entirely new app?

We added a sample of a few of the presets available in bleep!Synth. Hear it on the Samples page. Also featured on our Sound Cloud group.

I’d like to announce that I am officially working on a Mac/PC VST version of bleep!BOX. I’m excited about this because it will mean that you can take the patches you make on your iphone and load them up right in your sequencer, with full control over parameter automation, pattern switching and/or host controlled sequencing of all 10 of bleep!BOX’s drum/synth parts. The interface will be almost exactly the same as the iPhone version (possibly with some usability additions – still TBD). This should also open the door for running bleep!BOX on other touchscreen devices, such as netbooks. More info will be released in the coming weeks.

I’ve set up a SoundCloud group for anyone who would like to share songs that use bleep!BOX. They don’t have to be done exclusively with bleep!BOX – even a loop or two is fine. Feel free to post your bleep!Synth material as well! I’m going to be adding some more stuff there as time goes on.

I was going through the user patch submissions as well and there are some really nice loops in there! I look forward to putting a little pack together for download soon.
